TOLUENE

Toluene is a common nonpolar solvent found in many paints, paint thinners, silicone sealants, printing ink, adhesives, and lacquers. It is a precursor to a wide range of aromatic hydrocarbons including benzene and xylene.

Highly flammable. Inhalation of toluene in low to moderate levels can cause tiredness, confusion, weakness, drunken-type actions, memory loss, nausea, and loss of appetite. Use only in well ventilated areas with the proper personal protective equipment. Refer to the SDS sheet for further information.
