ISO scientific glassware cleaner is made from high-purity 99% isopropyl alcohol. It is fast dissolving, and leaves no residue on glassware. Also available in 70% concentration.

 

DESCRIPTION

Isopropyl Alcohol is a colorless, highly flammable organic compound having antibacterial properties. It is the simplest form of secondary alcohol and is a colorless liquid at room temperature.

APPLICATIONS

Isopropyl alcohol is a simple polar protic solvent commonly encountered as an antiseptic. It is able to dissolve many nonpolar compounds so it is widely used as a cleaner and degreaser which leaves little to no residue as it evaporates quickly. In the lab it can be used to clean and sanitize glassware and high concentrations (70-99%) can be used as a preservative.
